Welcome to our website

The Trust manages a wonderful area of woodland in the heart of Arnside village. Everyone is welcome to visit it and enjoy a peaceful walk with great views of the estuary and lots of wildlife. This website will tell you much more about its history and what you can find on your visit.    We hope you enjoy these pages and will come back to visit our site again.

The Trust's chairman is Andy Pringle. The trust now has ten trustees who will work together to maintain and enhance, where possible, this valuable village amenity and continue to ensure that the objectives of John Barnes' generous bequest are never forgotten.
