Barnes Charitable Trust

The Barnes Charitable Trust was set up in 1991 under the terms of the will of the late John Barnes, who for many years was the owner of Earnseat School.

Walled Garden and Allotments

The main part of the walled garden is managed as a wildflower meadow with a path mown round the central area and some fruit trees and a seating area.

We have some allotments in the walled garden. They are at present all rented but if you would like to go on the waiting list please contact Julia Holroyd on 07729 738121. There is a tool store and water butts but no power or vehicular access.

The rental agreement and a map of the walled garden are given below
